Hi guys! Here are my tips on how to get the best out of journalling and how I conduct it!
You can have your journal/diary in paper form or electronic form.
I personally have my diary in a google form format so that I have structure in what I am to write! I also make it a part of my homepage so that whenever I use my computer I am reminded to do my journalling.
I try to answer every question!
My diary/journal looks a little something like this:
This helps with statistical analysis over time.
Helps me to link back feelings with major events/occasions.
This is a time of letting go of my day.

Helps you with gratitude and overall mood.

Helps to in becoming a better person!
Helps me in sparking my imagination, creativity and problem solving!
This is so that I don’t just forget everything I learned at school that day and instead reflect over my day.
This is the start of the SWOT technique (Strength, weakness, opportunity, threat) mainly used in business meetings. Seems to be working on a personal level as well.
Helps me in improving as a person.
Helps me in making the most of my day.
Helps me in recognising my fears and insecurities.
I hope this example can help you in starting and keeping your own journalling habits!
